  • Support Independent (SLI)

In a shared living setting, NDIA-funded SIL accommodation offers assistance with and/or supervision of daily living activities with an emphasis on helping each resident gain the skills necessary to live as independently as possible. SIL accommodation can be used by a variety of clients, including those who choose to live with friends or trusted family members, when a client’s circumstances are complicated and there are few other alternatives available, or when a client makes the decision on their own.

Support staff and capacity builders who customers may need to reside in a shared setting are included in SIL accommodations. The capital expenditures related to a person’s housing are not included in SIL accommodations, nor are board and lodging or other regular daily living costs like food and entertainment. A Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) package, which pays for the physical accommodations, is available to many clients with SIL arrangements.

We provide completely furnished residences that adhere to all necessary requirements. A helpful, encouraging environment is created by carefully selecting the tenants who will share the space. Each and every one of our accommodations has a highly trained staff to ensure that participants are effectively supported and get the high-quality care they need.

  • Specialized Disability Accommodation (SDA)

One service that we are now working toward obtaining is specialist disability accommodation (SDA); we are in the process of registering for it so that we may offer SDA-related services. It’s crucial for everyone participating in the SDA financing arrangements under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to perform their own due diligence since they are intricate.

Key information on Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) can be found in the NDIS Price Guide for SDA, which also lists all the specifications for SDA providers and locations. This document is available on the SDA Pricing and Payments website and is often updated.

To help you learn more about SDA generally, we have included the “Frequently Asked Questions” below. For other commonly asked questions for SDA Providers, please visit the Get Building SDA page.
